Beyond The Therapy Room

  • Donation-Based Mutual Aid

Every month, Killian Collaborative Therapy allocates a portion of their profits for donation to a community-based organization. These organizations are chosen specifically because they support those that are the most intentionally-marginalized by the oppressive systems in our society. We are active in communities in Colorado, Washington, and Brazil.

*If you would like a list of organizations we have donated to, please reach out and ask!

  • Organizing for Justice & Liberation

Killian Collaborative Therapy believes that intellectual decolonization and liberation is not enough. We are involved with organizations and groups that actively learn, protest, and use their power to create change in the mental health community.

  • Land Back

Killian Collaborative Therapy staunchly advocates for lasting and collective Indigenous sovereignty, across the greater diaspora. We pay monthly rent to the specific communities whose land we practice on, across Turtle Island. Killian Collaborative Therapy strives to embody the values of, and invest in, abundance, deep relationships, and reparations.

*If you would like information on how to either start a voluntary land tax in your area, or information on how to donate to one that already exists, reach out!

Organization for April 2024: Feed The People Seattle

“Feed the People is a community-focused, black-led initiative based in Seattle, WA. We operate a community kitchen, lead youth development programs, for the love of food.”

Food is essential to every living being, not only as fuel, but as an expression of care, a way to build community, a way to grieve, and a way to pass down ancestral and cultural stories. We believe that everyone should have equity of resources, including basic resources. Killian Collaborative Therapy is thrilled to be able to support Feed the People this month. Land back & Indigenous Sovereignty

Killian Collaborative Therapy acknowledges that our practice resides and conducts business on stolen land. We show reverence for the land itself and work towards the collective liberation of all intentionally-marginalized peoples. We pay monthly rent back to the tribes on whose land we have the honor of using:

Núu-agha-tuvu-pu (Ute)
